Voice updates

RideHero can read out your distance, speed, time and heart rate every 1, 2 or 5 km (or miles), so you can keep your eyes on the road. Turn it on in Menu > While riding > Voice updates.

  1. Open Menu > While riding > Voice updates and choose ON.
  2. Pick how often: every 1, 2 or 5 km or miles - it follows your units.
  3. Tap TEST VOICE to hear it.
  • Heart rate is read when a heart-rate strap is paired (sensors).
  • Which voice, its language and its speed are set in the phone's Settings > Text-to-speech.
  • Music ducks under the voice rather than stopping.

What does RideHero say during a ride?

The distance, your speed, the time and your heart rate (with a heart-rate strap paired), every 1, 2 or 5 km or miles.

Can I change the voice or its language?

Yes, in the phone's own Settings under Text-to-speech. RideHero uses the phone's voice.
